Ron is a former Global Macro hedge fund manager spanning over 12 years and founder of Cambridge Capital Investments in Madison, NJ. Ron started his 24+ year career with JP Morgan Securities in New York as a corporate bond & derivatives trading assistant. He later joined Alpha Investment Management (Nicolas Berggruen Holdings), a $2 billion hedge fund and family office in New York, where he assisted in the management of Alpha’s internally managed Global Macro fund. After Alpha, he worked with portfolio managers of mutual fund and hedge fund products at Salomon Brothers Asset Management, and most recently Bracebridge Capital, a $11.5 billion fixed income arbitrage hedge fund specializing in university endowment investment.
Ron in 2002 passed the Series 65 Exam (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam) and Series 3 (National Commodities Futures Exam). He holds a BS in Finance with Economics Minor from Quinnipiac University. In addition, Ron is pursuing Level 3 of the Chartered Market Technicians (CMT) certification given by Market Technicians Association (MTA) and passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
